Problem summary
HTML COMPONENT IN CONTENT WITH LARGE NUMBER OF CONTENT LINKS CAUSES A HANG IN WCM
Problem conclusion
The processing of an html component with multiple links causes wcm to hang. Detailed Problem Description: When an attempt to save a content item with an html component with many links e.g. >= 88 links (<a> tag) is made, wcm appears to loop infinitely. Problem Analysis: There are mulitple redundant validations of the fragmented html component. In each validation there is duplicate validation of the same link component fragments. Problem Solution: Reduced the number validations during the save operation to 1. Removed the redundancy in validating link components by removing the duplicate fragments upon expansion.
