  • The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS ALC command function does
not honour panel ADB2UPA "Batch Job Utility Parameters" field
"Max DASD" when "Unload method" "D - Dsntiaul" is specified on
panel ADB27A "DB2 Admin ALTER".

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The  generated  JCL  indicates  it will *
*                      unload  data on Disk  unit rather  than *
*                      on  Tape  unit  specified  on the panel *
*                      ADB2UPA,"Batch Job Utility Parameters", *
*                      when Max DASD is reached.               *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
In skeleton ADB27TU, the default storage UNIT (ADB27ULU) was
used instead of TAPE (ADBTUNIT) when Max DASD is reached.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Skeleton ADB27TU is changed to use the Tape Unit specified on
panel ADB2UPA if Max DASD is reached.
