PK84029: MIG ADB1654W ISSUED WHEN "NEW TS STORAGE GROUP" AND "CREATE STORAGE GROUP" YES SPECIFIED SQLCODEN601 FOR CREATE STOGROUP

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS MIG function did not
  honour the "New TS storage group" | "New IX storage group"
  and "Create storage group" YES options specified on panel ADB28M
  "Migrate Parameters". The MIG job ended with a RC=4 and the msg:
  ADB1654W Override stogroup was not found on the local system.
           SGname = <new stogroup name>
           The current stogroup was generated instead. SGname =
           <old stogroup name>
  A SQLCODEN601 occurs on the CREATE STOGROUP if executed.
  

Local fix

• Use a MASK SGNAME:*,<new stogroup name> in addition to the
  override parms and the "Create Storage group" YES on ADB28M
