Error description

  • This APAR will address the following issues:
    -  Receiving message IZT7139I when the batch update utility
       (IZTUD1U0) attempts to delete an undefined LTERM from the
       ETO Support options data set.
    -  Terminal hang when logging on to IMS and sending VTAM
       userdata to set the NODE name, but the NODE is defined to
       IMS as a static terminal.
    -  NODE name being set to a value passed in the VTAM userdata
       when using the NODE NAME PREFIX list.

    This APAR is addressing the following problems:
    1.Abend S0C1 (abend0c1) in ETO Support batch update utility
      when run as a standard MVS batch job (not as an IMS
      DL/I or BMP job).
    2.Receiving message IZT7139I when the batch update utility
      (IZTUD1U0) attempts to delete an undefined LTERM from the ETO
      Support options data set.
    3.Terminal hang when logging on to IMS and sending VTAM userdata
      to set the NODE name, but the NODE is defined to IMS as a
      a static terminal
    4.NODE name being set to a value passed in the VTAM userdata
      when using the NODE NAME PREFIX list.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Code has been modified to correct the
    above mentioned problems.
