Integrity Checker creates RDEs * * during a reload process of a * * reorganization under FPA. * * * * 2. Under the HPIC Recovery function, * * Integrity Checker restores a valid RDE * * for a DEDB area and uses the RDE for * * DMB verification. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** This APAR includes the following two enhancements: 1. When the Fast Path Advanced Tool (FPA) of IMS High Performance Fast Path Utilities (HPFPU) V3.2 reorganizes a DEDB area with DBD change, Integrity Checker creates a new RDE for the reorganized area. If there is no current RDE for a DEDB area, Integrity Checker also creates an RDE for the area during reorganization by FPA. To use this enhancement, you need to apply APAR PK79836 for HPFPU V3.2. 2. When the Recovery function of IMS High Performance Image Copy (HPIC) V4.1 performs a time-stamp recovery of a DEDB area, Integrity Checker restores the RDE that was valid at the specified recovery time and uses that RDE for DMB verification. To use this enhancement, you need to apply APAR PK69500 for HPIC V4.1. Additionally, if you want to enable this enhancement during a time stamp recovery using an image copy taken under FPA, you need to apply APAR PK79836 for HPFPU V3.2.
