Error description

  • Excessive ECSA storage.DUMP will show a high volume of
    eyecatchers 'OM/DB2 V410 MSG COLL'.
    SYSTEM began running at 98% ECSA usage. Over 1500 MSG COLL
    control blocks were found in the dump. The high ECSA usage was
    the result of the modules involved in the DCNS command to
    to display console messages.
    Formatting a DUMP with VSMDATA ... OWNCOMM shows many blocks
    like:
    Data -> D6D461C4 C2F240E5 F4F1F040 D4E2C740  *OM/DB2 V410 MSG *

    NOTE *****************************************************
    The Action hold indicates that this fix will be loaded at the
    next IPL, this means that an IPL is required. PK79736 will
    negate the need for the IPL.
