PK71712: AFTER ORF INSTALL, THE CHANGED IMS REGION CONTROLLER DFSRRC00 IS CAUSING SOME OEM PRODUCTS TO ABEND

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After installation of Online Reorginization Facility, the
  changed IMS region controller causes some OEM products to
  abend, or does not allow them control at all.
  One abend seen is: ABENDU1771 in BMC ARCZDI00
  Keyword: HRFRRC00

  The following changes are being made through this APAR:
  1. New Function: BMP support for BMCs ARC (Application
  restart control).
  2. New Function: Support of generic exits.
  3. Trace file reduction.
  4. Infra structure upgrades.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1.BMP support for BMCs ARC (Application restart control)

  2.Support of generic exits
  The IMS exits DFSPPUE0 and DFSFLGX0 can now be specified in
  generic exits.
  3.Trace file reduction.
  The trace file contained many entries not immediately required.
  They have been converted to conditional trace entries. Those are
  activated on demand only.
  4. Infra structure upgrades.
  The testing of HALDB Toolkit found some errors in infra
  structure modules. Those have been included in this APAR.
