  • Rational Business Developer V7.1 (RBD)
The fix for PTF UK38820 (APAR PK70343) exposed a new problem.
The control block for some files should be below the line, but
the program logic was acquiring the storage above the line. The
previous defect was causing all storage to be obtained below 16
MB. Once that defect was fixed, the control block is now
obtained above 16MB, causing an abend in certain scenarios using
file input/output.
