Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tools Change Management Validate WSL
  issues a message:
  ADB3014E Error processing View aaaaaaa.aaaaaaaa in CREATE
  statement: Either column aaaaaaaaa does not exist in the
           table or the table does not exist.
  
  when the CREATE statement contains a VIEW defined on a VIEW
  which in turn is defined on a VIEW.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Validation  issues wrong error message  *
  *                      ADB3014E,  when a  view is  referenced  *
  *                      via an added alias. The problem is due  *
  *                      to  column lists for alias or synonyms  *
  *                      are  not updated  in  dictionary.Hence  *
  *                      when a view references an added alias,  *
  *                      validation fails with RC8.              *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  Changes are done so that columns list are generated for alias
  and synonyms also.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed in  V7.2 only.
