Problem summary
Users affected: All IWWCM users Detailed Problem Description: If a content with a link is expired in WCM, when user tries to delete the site area that content is in, the user will be led to clear/replace the link on the site area which is incorrect behavior. expected behavior will be to prompt the user error message indicating that the user needs to delete the decendant of the site area, which in this case is the expired content, before the site area can be deleted.
Problem conclusion
Problem Analysis: ContentServiceImpl class calls hasChildren() as part of a check before it deletes the site area. hasChildren(0 was calling CoreQueries.findSiteAreaAllChildren() which only finds only children that are published. Because the sitearea we are looking at has a child content that is expired, it will pass this check which it shouldn?t Failing Module: WCM - Web Content Management (General) Problem Solution: Change hasChildren() method to call CoreQueries.findSiteAreaNoDraftChildren() which returns both published and expired children.
