Error description
Customer is running the icmmrmdi job to delete objects in the items to be deleted table. In some cases, the items to be deleted are migrated objects from ImagePlus. The aysnc delete job is using theh Itemid field and not the URLADDRESS field which has the external object name of the migrated object. This is causing an OAM not found condition and the object was not deleted. The routine needs to be modified if the Itemid does not work try name in the URLADDRESS field.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of DB2(R) Content Manager for z/OS(R) * * library server V8.3 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * * When running asynchronous delete job * * ICMMRMDI on items migrated from * * ImagePlus, the external object name * * is not used to find the object in OAM * * and, as a result, the item is not * * deleted. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY CORRECTIVE SERVICE * **************************************************************** The test of an indicator variable in ICMPLSDR was incorrectly implemented.
Problem conclusion
The library server was corrected to properly test the indicator variable. --------------------------------- ++HOLD(ACT) Users of DB2 Content Manager resource manager v8.3 must first apply APAR PK64318, which contains changes to both resource manager and to DB2 Information Integrator for Content. These changes are incorporated, in both cases, in v8.3 fix pack 9, which must be applied both on z/OS and on all clients accessing this resource manager before applying this PTF. --------------------------------- ++HOLD(ACT) Users of part-level versioning who also have data in the EXTOBJECTNAME column of library server tables such as ICMUT0030n001 must go to http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24012036 before applying this PTF to download and execute a required data cleanup utility. (External object name data could exist, for example, as a result of migration from ImagePlus or from pre-8.3 Content Manager releases, or as a result of certain third-party software products).
