PK59664: NEW OPTIONS FOR SYSTEM BACKUP AND RECOVERY

APAR status

• Closed as new function.

Error description

• New options for system backup and recovery.  This APAR will add
  these new options.
  1) For SNAP, BCV and FLASH backups, the option to 'exclude'
  selected volumes.
  2) For migrated datasets, the option to recall and wait or
  bypass the recall and continue processing.
  3) For object recovery, allow selection of source: system
  backup, image copy, or 'best method'.
  4) New primary command, 'SOURCE', to allow entry of a range of
  'source units' from the update backup profile panel.
