Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IMS Online Reorganization * * Facility Version 1.2. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When doing onlinechange, user does not * * see which DBDs have been copied to the * * ACB libraries. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** This APAR is correcting 3 problems and also adding new function. 1.When doing onlinechange, user does not see which DBDs have been copied to ACB libraries. Explanation: The ACBLIBA/B datasets are displayed, but the user has to check in IEBPRINT for the member names. 2.Can not pause BMPs that do not use GU IOPCB or CHKP calls. Explanation: Application program uses SYNC calls. ORF does not check for those in order to test for BMP pausing. 3.BMP is defined as WFI, but has no trancode associated. Explanation: We collect the PST# and the trancode for a PSTOP command. Since there is no trancode, the command fails. New Function: BMP is message driven, but incoming messages do not come from the message queue. When no more messages are available, the application creates a sync point and goes into a wait (sometimes 5 minutes). We will pause the application if a pause request had been issued. The BMP intercept modules have been changed. A new function for the //CHKPNTS DD , "APPLWAIT=Y" can be specified to enable this function. (see ++HOLD file for more detail). The BMP intercept must be APF authorized for this new function. All other functions remain the same and do not need APF. If the application library is not authorized, it should either be APF authorized or removed from the STEPLIB. A new DD-statement //PGMLIB is available for the non APF application library. SAMPLIB member HRFBMP has been modified. If you copied the BMP intercept modules to your RESLIB using member HRFBMP, this has to be redone.
Problem conclusion
1.DBD members are displayed when creating the list for IEBCOPY to copy to the ACB libraries. 2.HRFRRCnn has been changed to include the SYNC call. 3.Supress PSTOP command if no trancode is returned. New Function has been added (see description above)
