PK56478: QUERY/LIST FUNCTION ONLY SHOWS FIRST 3000 MESSAGES ON QUEUE AND SOME VARIOUS OTHER ISSUES ADDRESSED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The following issues will be addressed:
  1) Query/List function only shows first 3,000 messages on queue
  2) Sample does not include ONCOLDSTART
  3) Sample job needed to allocate ALL required QCF datasets
  4) IMS test program interface requires full "n" character field
     specifications. Otherwise it pads with unwanted values making
     it difficult to use.
  5) When specifying certain datasets that do not exist
     (unload,scrap,etc.) a strange message appears at bottom of
     the screen " EXIT 7 "

  *                      Recompile the PSBs and rebuild          *
  *                      the ACBs. Uncommitted messages can be   *
  *                      inserted now using these PSBs.          *
  *                      6.Selection to get detailed messages    *
  *                      information is saved in profile-        *
  *                      this is for option 2 in main menu.      *
  *                      7.Several help messages and panels      *
  *                      are changed to be more clear.           *
