Error description

  • This APAR will fix multiple issues in Recovery Expert v2.1 as
    part of a GA PTF.
    .
    1. Subsystem Time/RBA Display panel ( ARY$RBAE ) may contain
    RBA/LRSN information captured before the RBA/LRSN of the system
    level backup being selected.
    .
    2. User may receive an ARYR342E when trying to expanding indexes
    with WILDCARD=Y and PROCESS CLONES=Y
    .
    3. Invalid extended help using PF1 given for error message
    ARYR179E
    .
    4. User may encounter the following error messages when trying
    to add a new alias to the user catalog for DB2 logs, ISPF140,
    ARYR118E, and ARYR179E
    .
    5. Object profiles created with 'no access' option is viewable
    by other users
    .
    6. Error IEC149I 813-04 is reported when performing a system
    restore from a tape offload.
    .
    7. ARYR701E issued when trying to add plan names on setup panels
    .
    8. Possible incorrect value may be placed in DSNDB01 before
    system restore logonly.  This can occur on a data sharing
    system, when using native EMC (BCV or Snap) as the backup method
    and Recovery Expert does NOT suspend the log, the recover base
    RBA/LRSN in the header page of DSNDB01 can be set incorrectly
    resulting in a bad recovery.

    9. Error messages ARYS021E, ARYS166E and ARYS167E may be
    generated if a DB2 work file tablepace resides on a volume not
    being copied by the backup profile.

    10. ISPF Dialog Error ISPP120, Panel 'ARYR360E' error, issued
    when trying to access product's ISPF interface and product
    libraries are not APF authorized.
