APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When attempting to logon to monitor a specific DB2, if a DB2
connection can not be created because the plan is not bound,
GRANTS not performed the user is thrown back to VTAM -

This can also happen when the DB2 is properly configured but has
been started in maintenance mode.

Local fix

  • Check OMPE server joblog for message indicating the plan is not
bound the complete the configuration
