Error description

  • In DB2 Administration Tool GEN function can fail when trying to
GEN more than 32767 TRIGGER objects. Typically, this will occur
when using GENTRIG option D for TRIGGERs .

Problem summary

*                 than 32767 triggers which reference          *
*                 tables in the GEN set.                       *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In this case, a system 0C8 can result.  *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
ADB2REP was changed so that a Bin Fixed(15) global counter is no
longer used to differentiate the triggers defined on a single
table.
