Error description

• When the application is compiled with NEWFUN(YES) under DB2 V8,
  the program= for DB2 SQL call trace on the BTSOUT is not
  reported correctly.

  When the application is compiled with NEWFUN(YES) under DB2 V8,
  the program= for DB2 SQL call trace on the BTSOUT is not
  reported correctly.
  BTS reports PROGRAM name every SQL call to BTSOUT using the
  return area from DB2. Program name is stored in EBCDIC or
  ASCII. In case of ASCII, BTS has to translate the ASCII to
  EBCDIC program name. The problem is; BTS tried to translate
  EBCDIC charater. As the result, the program name on the BTSOUT
  shows the incorrect reported name.
  

Problem conclusion

• BTS modified to translate when only translateion is needed.
