PK50924: IEFQB551 RUNNING ORF WITH LIU ACTIVE REG7 BAD AFTER SWAREQ CALL

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• I am running the ORF version of DSPCRTR0 with LIU enabled. When
  I attempt to copy a HALDB, I get an 0C4 in IEFQB551 because
  because R7 is bad. I have traced this back to an SWAREQ call
  at offset x'272' in HRFCRTR0. I noticed that HRFCRTR0 does not
  pass a large enough EPA and nor does it initialise the EPA.

  1. SWAREQ macro not initialized correctly. The workarea was not
  properly cleared prior to calling the SWAREQ macro.
  Additionally, the workarea should have been larger.
  2. BMP list was not cleaned up. this could result in an invalid
  BMP list during DBR processing.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. All modules using the SWAREQ macro have been corrected.
  Note:  This problem does not appear in z/OS 1.7.
  2. BMP list is now cleaned up.
  3. Function to HRFCICS added to create a PTF for SMP/E.
