Error description

  • Abend SD23 ( D23 abendD23 SD23 ) after SVC x'23' WTOR is issued
by module IRTXRI00 @ PK39154 at offset x'92E'.  R15=05010004
means the WTOR text length is 0.  This happens when
AUTOWTOR=YES during an extended restart.

Local fix

  • No work around.

Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: PRF abends SD23 during an extended      *
*                      restart when the AUTOWTOR=YES option    *
*                      has been  specified.                    *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
Program Restart should not ABENDD23 if option AUTOWTOR=YES is
selected as a job processing option. A change to an option
parsing routine made in PK44755 which prevents some user-
specified options from being recognized has also been corrected.

Problem conclusion

  • Program Restart has been corrected to prevent the SD23 abend
from occurring and to properly recognize all user-specified
product options.
