Error description

  • Getting CKZ22053E MAXIMUM LENGTH EXCEEDED FOR KEYWORD:
DB2-MEMBERS when member name is 5 to 8 characters.
A member name can be 1 to 8 characters, but DB2UPDATE is
allowing only 1 to 4 characters

Local fix

  • Additional Symptoms:
    1. Fully qualified EXCLUDE-MASKS entries do not always work in
       DB2FIX command.
    2. CKZ23527E MEMBER: mbrname HOLDS LOCKS; IT MUST BE STARTED TO
RELEASE THE LOCKS when ssid and member name are different.
