Error description

  • In cases where table versioning was performed (e.g., ALTER
TABLE... ALTER COLUMN... SET DATA TYPE ...), message ALAA358E
    may be incorrectly returned.

    * If all log activity processed by DB2 Log Analysis Tool is:
      - past the point of a REORG on the affected tablespace, and
      - that REORG was taken AFTER such column alteration took
        place,
then the message should not appear.

    * If any log activity occurred prior to that REORG,
then the message is correct and this APAR will have no affect.

NOTE: Only affects DB2 Log Analysis Tool v2.1 and v2.2.
DB2 Log Analysis Tool v2.3 functions correctly.
