  • Ran the CEXDFCMD utility to switch the journal and got
message CEX5046E TCPIP request end with error, request:INITAPI,
Return code:FFFFFFFF Error number:1011.

CEX Batch Command Utility CEXDFCMD fails with message - CEX5046E
TCPIP request ended with error, request: INITAPI, Return code:
FFFFFFFF, Error number: 1011.
CEXDFCMD is supplying some parameters at TCP/IP initialization
time that may not be valid for all TCP/IP configurations.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • CEXDFCMD has been changed to be consistent with other CEX
component and use installation defaults at TCP/IP
initialization time.
