PK35431: ABEND40D-14 IN IMS CONTROL REGION AFTER ISSUING IMS COMMANDS

Error description

• ABEND40D-14 occurs in the IMS control region while running
  IMS Sysplex Manager and issuing IMS commands. CPOOLS used for
  the IMS commands were not being freed.

  GJECPOOL has been used to create exceptions AWEs and send them
  to data collector. Data collector can not free CPOOLS, it only
  can enqueue them to the free buffers queue header. The amount
  of CPOOLs increases and this is the reason for ABEND40D-14 in
  control region.
  

Problem conclusion

• GJECPOOL macro to obtain AWE for exception records has been
  replaced by GJEISNP macro. GJEISNP macro obtains buffer from
  snapshot free buffers queue- and there it is returned by data
  collector. There is certain amount of sbapshot buffers in use
  If the max amount has been reached no new CPOOL is obtained
  - tasks wait on some buffers to be freed by DC.
