PK34100: TOLERATION SUPPORT FOR DB2 V9 - APAR #5

APAR status

Error description

• This APAR adds toleration for DB2 V9.  Additionally,  DATAWK
  and SORTWK datasets have been removed for INDEX REORG utility.
  These datasets are not required for the INDEX REORG utility.
  
  In order to avoid SQLCODE -206 ( SQLCODE206 ), please edit and
  execute sample HAA#DDL5. This DDL alters table OBJECT_V13 to add
  the column PROCESS_CLONES.
  We missed putting this in the ++HOLD in PTF UK22381.
  
  
  * SQLCODE180 (-180) importing an obj.profile:
    - from a system with the DB2 v9 toleration code
    - to a system that does not have the DB2 v9 toleration code.
  
    The DB2 V9 toleration code has a new column, PROCESS_CLONES.
    This new column was added in the middle of the
    Object Profile.  The problem is that maintenance levels
    prior to V9 Toleration do not recognize this new layout.
  
    The only solution is to update the systems where the import
    is being performed to the V9 Toleration maintenance.
    The customer must have the V9 toleration maintenance on
    the target system if it was present on the source system.
