PK33490: THE JCL GENERATED BY PANEL IPISDGRS, AT TIMES, DOESN'T INCLUDE THE IMSPLEX PARAMETER AND SUBSEQUENTLY CAN CAUSE A JCL ERROR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Through Panel IPISDGRS a Group is created which incudes multiple
  IMS Subsystems and IMS Connect Tasks. Then when a REPORT SET
  gets requested thereafter, the IMSPLEX name in the PARM of the
  IPIDBRC Log Selection facility program is not included in the
  generated JCL.  This can happen even if the IMSID and the HSWID
  keywords are correctly included in the IPIPARM.
  Running the subsequent JCL causes a JCL error.
  

Local fix

• Mnually add the IMSPLEX PARM name to the EXEC statement after
  the JCL is generated and before it is run.
