After an extended restart, if the restarted application
completes without abending and the application does not
issue any CHKP calls after the initial XRST call, PRF is
not cleaning up the checkpoint tracking data sets normally
    deleted after an extended restart.

  • This APAR makes sure that PRF deletes the checkpoint tracking
data sets after the job step completes without abnormally
    terminating.
