Error description
When HPFP Reorganization Unload runs with multiple IAREA/OAREA in restructure mode, it may get ABENDS0C4 or IEC0036I. This problem occurs in multiple CPUs. S0C4 can occur in HFPJINI0, HFPJIUS0, HFPJOMN0, and HFPJQUS0.

HFPD3023E DYNAMIC ALLOCATION FAILED * * DDNAME: HFPSxxxx in HPFP Reorg Analyze * * process. * * 3. HFPU4000E INTERNAL ERROR FOUND in * * HPFP Reorg Reload/Change process with * * IDCAMS parameter of ATTRIBUTE keyword. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** This APAR includes the following 3 problems. 1. The following situations occur when unloading multiple areas by a multiprocessing configuration with both IMSACB and NEWACB. * Abend S0C4 in HFPJINI0, HFPJIUS0, HFPJOMN0, HFPJQUS0 or HFPJUSR0. * Issue MSGIEC036I 002-18 and abend S002 in IFG0199B. 2. Analyze process estimates and allocates HFPSxxxx for the internal usages dynamically. The estimated size is too big to allocate the HFPSxxxx data set. 3. When reload and change process are run with ALLOCATE ATTRIBUTE=(IDCAMS,..) and the IDCAMS statement has some errors, it may abend HFPU4000E INTERNAL ERROR FOUND.
Problem conclusion
This APAR solves the following 3 problems. 1. HPFP Reorg does not care about Free-Pool manipulation at the system with multi-CPU, high CPU speed and high CPU utilization. When unloading multiple areas by a multiprocessing configuration, the abend resulted from a buffer breakdown. It has been modified to append to the header a counter. 2. Analyze process has been changed to estimate HFPSxxxx data set size appropriately. 3. Reload and Change processes have been modified to manage IDCAMS statement errors in spite of MAXCC statement. 220Y HFPAMAN0 HFPAS4I0 HFPA1DC0 HFPA1IN0 HFPA1P10 HFPA1P20 HFPA1RP0 HFPA1SD0 HFPA3BT0 HFPA3MT0 HFPA3SI0 HFPA3SM0 HFPA3SS0 HFPA3S00 HFPA3000 HFPA4000 HFPA5IN0 HFPDFAL0 HFPFACC0 HFPFANA0 HFPFATI0 HFPFTRM0 HFPFTSK0 HFPFTTI0 HFPJINI0 HFPJIUS0 HFPJMAN0 HFPJOMN0 HFPJQUS0 HFPKIMN0 HFPMCCT0 HFPREST0 HFPRMAN0 HFPRSRBH HFPRSRBP HFPRSRB0 HFPRTBP0 HFPWMSG0 HFPWPRC0 HFPZACC
