This APAR is making the following enhancements:
    1. Users of the CCF ISPF Dialog component can execute scripts
of IMS commands coded in a member of a PDS allocated to
the CCFPROC DD statement with substitution for symbolic
values occuring at the time the command list is invoked.
    2. Users of the batch component can cause a wait to occur after
an IMS command has been issued.
This APAR also corrects a problem in a subroutine which
analyzes database names coded in IMS commands that contain
    wild card characters.

Comments

  • Modules CCFCMD00, CCF9CMD0, CCF9ATB0 and CCFMASK8 have been
modified for this APAR in order to provide a small program
enhancement (SPE) which will allow users to execute IMS
command scripts with symbolic substitution occuring for
values specified when the script is invoked. Also added is
the capability of causing a delay after an IMS command has
been issued using the batch component.
