    HPIC V3R2 provides new parameter LASTICALL of TIMESTMP= keyword.
    When you specify the LASTICALL parameter to TIMESTMP= keyword,
    HPIC finds the latest batch image copy or SMSNOCIC in DBRC, and
    uses it for the recovery or the create image copy function as an
    input image copy data set.
    The TIMESTMP= keyword with LASTIC or LASTICALL parameter can be
    defined as a site default.

Comments

  • FABJBLKD, FABJMSGC, FABJPARM, and FABJRCHK have been modified to
    provide the LASTICALL parameter.

    FABJRCH7, FABJRCH8, and FABJRCH9 have been reassembled.

    FABJTGEN has been modified to add the TIMESTMP= keyword to the
    site default table.

    = DOCUMENTATION CHANGE =
    ========================
    IMS High Performance Image Copy for z/OS Version 3 Release 2
    User's Guide SC18-7617-01 ( SC18761701 ) should be changed as
    follows:

    --------------------------------------------------
    Chapter 2. Operating Instructions
    Input
    ICEIN Keywords
    --------------------------------------------------
    2.3.5.47 TIMECHK=

    The TIMECHK keyword specifies whether the HPIC Recovery function
    is to verify the time stamp in the image copy header record with
    DBRC.

               TIMECHK=Y|N

    where:

    Y
    specifies that the HPIC Recovery function is to compare the time
    stamp data in the header record of the input image copy data set
    with that in the DBRC record. If the time stamps are not the
    same, the HPIC process fails. This keyword is the default.

    N
    specifies that the HPIC Recovery function is not to compare the
    time stamp data in the header record of the input image copy
    data set with that in the DBRC record. If the input image copy
    data set is the same as the concurrent image copy (CIC),
    TIMECHK=N is ignored.

    | Note: TIMECHK keyword is not effect for following type of
    | image copy data set.
    |  - Online Image Copy
    |  - IC2 Image Copy

    2.3.5.48 TIMESTMP=

    The TIMESTMP keyword specifies the time stamp used for the time
    stamp recovery and Create Image Copy.

    | TIMESTMP= yy yy|ddd|hh|mm|ss|t offset |LASTIC|LASTICALL

                       :
    LASTIC requests the recovery or the create image copy
    function using the latest batch image copy stored in the DBRC as
    input.
    The LASTIC keyword works only when the latest batch image copy
    is used in the DBRC.

    Notes:
    1. When TIMESTMP=LASTIC of the Recovery function is used, the
    input image copy must be allocated by dynamic allocation. This
    statement must not be coded in JCL.
    2. When using TIMESTMP=timestamp of Recovery Function, you
    should use dynamic allocation for the image copy. If the image
    copy data set specified is not the same as those registered in
    DBRC, the HPIC Recovery function fails.

    | LASTICALL requests the recovery or the create image copy
    | function using the latest batch image copy or SMSNOIC stored
    | in the DBRC as input.

    -------------------------------------------
    Chapter 3. Site Default Generation Utility
    Generations a Site Default Table
    Input
    --------------------------------------------------
    The keywords for the Site Default Generation utility are as
    follows:

      - COMP
      - COMPRTN
      - CRCTYPE
           :
      - SPACE
    | - TIMESTMP
      - UNIT
      - WAITMSG
      - WAITTIME

    | Allowed parameter of TIMESTMP keyword in the Site Default is
    | LASTIC or LASTICALL only.

      You omit one or more keywords, the HPIC original default
      values are kept as the default of those values.
      When other keywords for GLOBAL statement are specified in the
      ICEIN GLOBAL statement, the Site Default Generation utility
      ignores them.

    ---------------------------------------------------
    Appendix A. Return Codes, Abend Codes, and Messages
    ---------------------------------------------------

    FABJ3930W TIMESTMP=LASTIC OR LASTICALL IS REQUIRED FOR
              TIMECHK=NO. TIMECHK IS IG IGNORED

    Explanation: TIMECHECK=YES is ignored, because requested
    recovery type is TIMESTMP=LASTIC or TIMESTMP=LASTICALL..
    When the TIMESTAMP=LAST or TIMESTMP=LASTICALL is requested,
    TIMECHK=NO is used.

    System Action: Program FABJMAIN continues the processing.

    Programmer Response: None.
