Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool, MIG (migrate) can fail in the LOAD
  step with error messages similar to the following:
  DSNU047I    DSNURELD - A REQUIRED DD CARD OR TEMPLATE IS
              MISSING. NAME=SYSREC.
  .
  LOAD job terminates with rc8 rc08 . Problem is only seen when
  running the MIG job from a WSL ( Work Statement List ) using DB2
  UNLOAD and specifying parallel utility operation, as shown in
  the following MIG panel prompts:
     Generate work stmt list . . . . . : YES      (Yes/No)
     Unload Method . . . . . . . . . . : U        (U - Unload)
     Parallel Utilities  . . . . . . . : YES      (Yes/No)
  .
  Examination of WSL shows no SYSREC TEMPLATE included in the WSL.

  When running parallel processing, work statement list and
  UNLOAD are used to migrate a table, the LOAD work statement
  list job failed RC=8 with a message DSNU047I DSNURELD - A
  REQUIRED DD CARD OR TEMPLATE IS MISSING NAME=SYSREC due to
  the SYSREC template not being generated in the JCL.
  

Problem conclusion

• The changes are to generate sysrec template or DD card whenever
  it is necessary. All possible combinations of the following four
  parameters to migrate TSs and TBs have been conidered:

  UNLOAD method,
  Parallel - Y/N
  SWL -Y/N
  Template - Y/N.

  The template or DD card should now be generated properly.
