PK04893: CQM153E RC08 RS03 CCSID TRANSLATION ERROR WHERE INDIRECT CONVERSION PAIRS ARE DEFINED

APAR status

Error description

• Customer may receive a CQM153E error - "Return Code 08
  Reason Code 03 was encountered during translation.  Source CCSID
  = #### target CCSID = ####".
  This will occur normally when there is no direct or indirect
  conversion pairs defined for the source-to-target CCSID.  In
  some instances QM will not search for the indirect conversions
  resulting in a CQM153E error message when an indirect path
  exists.  Query Monitor has been changed to redrive Unicode
  conversion services with a search for an indirect pair when no
  direct pairs are present in these instances.
