Error description

  • An allocation hang occurred when sort proc could not allocate
HALDB primary index because it was allocated by the main job.
This is similar to problem resolved by PQ82443, but the shadow
dataset solution was not done for HALDB, as allocation hang was
not supposed to occur.

For HALDB primary index, shadowing was not assumed neccesary in
the context of PQ82443/UQ84789.

Problem conclusion

  • HALDB primary index DSN shadowing was introduced to avoid
eventual allocation content.
