PJ44960: CDEWG3401 error is shown when opening a solution in Case Client for the first time if there are multiple views in a page

Error description

  • As a solution page, with multiple custom views associated with
    the page, loads in Case Client the first time after solution
    deployment, the following error may be shown to the user:
    
    CDEWG3401 "The following view definition cannot be found."
    Contact your system administrator to ensure that the solution is
    deployed correctly and that the correct view definition is
    configured for the Properties widget on this page.
    
    This is a result of multiple resource requests from the client
    browser to the IBM Case Manager server, and the IBM Case Manager
    server attempting to expand and cache the custom view related
    files.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed in 5.3.1.0-ICM-IF001 or later. With the fix, when a
    solution page, with multiple custom views associated with the
    page, loads in Case Client the first time after solution
    deployment, users will no longer see the error CDEWG3401 "The
    following view definition cannot be found.".
