Error description

  • A new transaction was added to the transaction group (TRANGRP)
and then when the workload definition (WLMDEF) was installed,
    the following messages occur:
    .
EYUWM0426I date time applid Transaction Group (name) already
      installed in workload(name) for CICSplex(plexname) -
      parameter ignored.
      .
EYUWM0427I date time applid Parameters have been ignored
during the installation of Workload Definition (name) for
      CICSplex(plexname), workload(workload) - initiated by CMAS
      (cmasname).
    .
If you are changing any attribute of the TRANGRP, such as
the Affinity Relationship and Lifetime, then this message will
occur unless the WLMDEF is discarded and then re-installed.
    .
A WLMDEF can be reinstalled without being discarded as long as
the only changes are to add or remove transactions from the
TRANGRP. In cases where it is necessary to change other
attributes, the only recourse is to DISCARD and INSTALL the
    WLMDEF.
    .
As this error is expected, this apar is being raised to address
the serviceability to easily identify the changes to the
TRANGRP that are resulting in the message.

When you install a WLM definition or a WLM group from either the
CPSM WUI, the CICS Explorer or a CPSM API program, method
EYU0WMWI is called to perform WLMDEF installation. If the key
attributes of WLMDEF (or its associated TRANGRP) have been
changed and the previously installed WLMDEF remains active, the
install request fails with message EYUWM0426I.

Without a record of the "before and after" states of the
affected attributes it is difficult to determine what has been
updated. A variety of logs, dumps and traces must be analyzed to
establish the original cause of the problem, and in some cases
the CICSplex name for EYUWM0426I message may not be set
    properly.

Problem conclusion

  • To improve the serviceability, method EYU0WMWI has been updated
to add new trace entries as follows for serviceability and set
CICSplex name properly for message EYUWM0426I.
