PI97148: UNEXPECTED UTILITY OPTIONS GENERATED SETTING PANEL ADB2US "REVIEW/CHANGE OPTIONS" TO 'N' ADB909E

Error description

• This APAR addresses two issues:
  1. Panel ADB2US "Table Space Utilities" lists utility control
  option "Review/change options".  The description of this option
  implies that you should select it only if you wish to change
  utility options from those previously selected. However,
  setting this option to 'N' actually causes Admin Tool to
  generate Admin Tools recommended default options, which may not
  be what the user intended.
  This APAR changes this option to 'List/Customize DB2 Utility
  options', and offers additional information on the associated
  help panel.
  2.  The following DB2 Administration Tool
  ISPF message is misleading, and offers
  little guidance when option "I" from
  panel ADB2P 'DB2 Admin Options' is
  selected:
  ADB909E The profile table has not been created,
  or the profile table is created but CM is disabled.
  This APAR changes the text of this message to:
  ADB909E Use of this option requires the "Change Management
  database" option to be enabled and installed by a DB2 Admin
  Tool administrator using IBM Tools Customizer for z/OS.

  However,setting this option to 'N' actually causes Admin Tool
  to generate Admin Tool's recommended default options, which
  may not be what the user intended. The Input field description
  has been revised to read as follows:
  
  "List/Customize DB2 Utility options''
  
  In addition, the associated help panel ADBHUS, 'DB2 Table
  Space Utilities', has been revised to contains the following
  information:
  
  List/Customize DB2 Utility options (YES/NO):
  YES - List and customize DB2 Utility options for the selected
        utility.
        Note: Y is not compatible with specifying multiple
        commands or SM as a command.
  NO -  Do not list or customize DB2 Utility options. Instead,
        use optimal/common settings DB2 Admin Tool recommends for
        the selected utility.
  
  2.  ISPF message ADB909E has been revised to read as follows:
  
  ADB909E Use of this option requires the "Change Management
  database" option to be enabled and installed by a DB2 Admin Tool
  administrator using IBM Tools Customizer for z/OS.
