  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In the Concurrent Image Copy (CIC)      *

  *                      initialization of full-function         *
  *                      database Sensor (FF DB Sensor)          *
  *                      terminates with following error         *
  *                      messages.                               *
  *                      - BBE3215E UNABLE TO OBTAIN RECONID.    *
  *                        RECON: RECON1, RC=000C, RSN=0003      *
  *                        ( MSGBBE3215E , RC000C , RSN0003 ).   *
  *                      - BBE1401E DB SENSOR ENDED WITH ERRORS  *
  *                        IN FUNC=INIT RC=0008                  *
  *                        ( MSGBBE1401E , RC0008 ).             *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

  In the Concurrent Image Copy (CIC) process of IMS HP Image
  Copy, initialization of full-function database Sensor (FF DB
  Sensor) terminates with following error messages.
  - BBE3215E UNABLE TO OBTAIN RECONID. RECON: RECON1, RC=000C,
    RSN=0003
    ( MSGBBE3215E , RC000C , RSN0003 ).
  - BBE1401E DB SENSOR ENDED WITH ERRORS IN FUNC=INIT RC=0008
    ( MSGBBE1401E , RC0008 ).
  During initialization process, FF DB Sensor checks if the
  allocated RECON data set are registered in the repository of
  IMS Tools Knowledge Base (IMS Tools KB). However CIC process
  of IMS HP Image Copy does not allocate RECON data sets before
  scheduling FF DB Sensor.  As the result, initialization process
  of FF DB Sensor terminates with error.
  

Problem conclusion

• By this APAR, IMS HP Image Copy will check the allocation
  status of RECON data set before scheduling FF DB Sensor when it
  runs with DBRC=Y. If RECON data sets are not allocated, IMS HP
  Image Copy allocates them then schedules FF DB Sensor.
