PI90282: CWWKB0152E IWMEJOIN RETURN CODE 2,135 DURING SERVLET READ LISTENER

Error description

Message CWWKB0152E: Native routine (IWMEJOIN) received a
failing reason code (2,135) from WLM is seen in messages.log
when running applications using the servlet-3.1 feature
along with the zosWlm-1.0 feature.  The servlet must
implement and use a ReadListener.  Work may be attributed to
the wrong WLM enclave when this error occurs.

The web container did not transfer contexts from the main
servlet thread, to the thread that processes a ReadListener.  In
some cases the thread that processes a ReadListener was not
associated with any enclave.  In other cases it was associated
with the wrong enclave.  In some instances an SMF 120 record
would not be produced at the end of a request because zosWlm-1.0
thought that there was still an outstanding ReadListener, when
in fact they had all completed.  Error CWWKB0152E for service
IWMEJOIN occurs when the ReadListener thread could not join an
enclave because it was already in an enclave, and is the most
common symptom of this problem.

Problem conclusion

Code was added to transfer the context correctly from the main
servlet thread, to the threads that process ReadListener
implementations.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 17.0.0.4.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
