Error description
DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal does not decode default value of some of the sub-parameters specified on the EXIT= parameter of DBD or SEGM statement and were added recently. These parameters were added by several IMS PTFs, so LIU avoids decoding of default value of these sub-parameters because of compatibility of old versions of IMS.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IMS Library Integrity Utilities for z/OS, * * Version 2 Release 2 (FMID=H27P220) users * * who use the DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal utility. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal does not decode * * default value of some of the * * sub-parameters specified on the * * EXIT= parameter of DBD or SEGM * * statement and were added recently. * * These parameters were added by several * * IMS PTFs, so LIU avoids decoding of * * default value of these sub-parameters * * because of compatibility of old * * versions of IMS. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** This APAR fixes DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal to decode default value of some of the sub-parameters specified on the EXIT= parameter of DBD or SEGM statement. The default sub-parameters are BEFORE, DLET, NOFLD, NOINPOS and NOSSPCMD. The cause of the problem is DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal does not decode these parameters which are recently added by several IMS PTFs because of compatibility of old versions of IMS. As the result of this, the behavior of these new sub-parameters on EXIT= parameters are not same as the behavior of existing sub-parameters on EXIT= parameter. The value of existing sub-parameters are decoded even if the value is default value. DBD/PSB/ACB Reversal fixes to decode default sub-parameters on EXIT= parameter with same rule.
