• When altering many objects with DB2 Admin Tool, the generated
  job fails with virtual storage problems and terminates with
  RC=12. Output shows:

  When Batch restart program, ADBTEP2, calls parser
  and ALTER TABLESPACE or ALTER INDEX statements
  are encountered in input, the storage allocated during
  the parsing is not freed when it becomes unnecessary.
  The freeing of resource is done implicitly at the end of
  program. However, when many ALTER TABLESPACE or
  ALTER INDEX statements are in a WSL, it may consume
  all available storage before end of the program. This may
  lead to storage errors such as:
