APAR status

Error description

• Directory entries and notification lists are shared in REORG and
  RECOVERY domains.
  If a notification list is created in the initial RECOVERY
  domain and is promoted to the initial operation environment,
  the notification list will be the latest level, and the
  notification list created in the existing REORG domain will be
  replaced.
  This APAR addresses this issue by copying existing notification
  lists when creating an initial domain environment.

  Directory entries and notification lists are shared in REORG and
  RECOVERY domains, because notification lists are not domain
  specific. If a notification list is created in the new empty
  RECOVERY domain and is promoted to the initial operation
  environment, the notification list will be the latest level, and
  the notification list created in the existing REORG domain will
  be missing.
  
  This APAR also handles following problems.
  - The Policy Dialog 'View A Threshold Values' panel shows that
    the upper value of DB_AVG_DBREC_LENGTH is 858,993,459,200,000.
    (15 digits) However, last 2 digits of the data element is
    after decimal point. Correct upper value of
    DB_AVG_DBREC_LENGTH is 8,589,934,592,000. (13 digits)
  - Forward fit of Tools Base V1.5 APAR PI84027. (POLICY SERVICES
    DOES NOT RELEASE STORAGE ON EXCEPTION NOTIFICATIONS.)
  

Problem conclusion

• The Policy Services has been modified to copy all notification
  lists when creating empty maintenance environment.
  The Policy Services has been modified to correct upper value of
  data elements that have decimal point.
  The Policy Services has been modified to release storages that
  are allocated for sending notification messages.
