Error description

  • If  in an EGL program the user creates (implicitly or
explicitly) a dynamic array with the initial size of either 0 or
1 records, and then tries to use insertElement before ever using
appendElement, an abend 0C4 can occur.

Instead of the logic correctly inserting the record at the
appropriate location, an abend 0C4 can occur. This is caused by
the algorithm for obtaining new entry pointers in the dynamic
array. This algorithm was different than the one used by
appendElement and was flawed under this circumstance.
