APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • ADBTEP2 ends with RC=0 when a user-specified
restarting point is not in a WSL. As a result, the deletion of
the restart point information from the DB2 Admin check-
point table makes the WSL unable to restart from the
    previous point of failure.
With this APAR, when a user-specified restart label is not
found in a WSL, the job will end with RC=8, and a new error
    message, ADB5278E / msgadb5278e, will be displayed:
ADB5278E User restart label label_name was not found.
Review WSL and ensure to have the specified restart label.
