    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
When ORF reorganizes a database with multiple data set groups,
the ORF job can fail with the following errors:
     HRF01522E DBRC 'NOTIFY.ALLOC' request ... failed, RC=0000000C
HRF01139E Post Reorg processing failed in NOTIFY ALLOC
ORF reads the latest DSSN values from RECON at the end of the
Apply phase and uses the values to calcurate the DSSN values for
the NOTIFY.ALLOC commands. If a new DSG is added to the current
update set after ORF reads RECON, the NOTIFY.ALLOC command
issued by ORF would fail because it does not match the current
    RECON status.

Problem conclusion

  • This APAR modifies the program so that it reads the DSSN values
from RECON after the /DBRECOVERY command has completed on all
    IMS subsystems.
