  *                      PROCEDURE-POINTER to a COBOL V5+        *
  *                      program is setup using the literal      *
  *                      format of the "SET ... TO ENTRY ..."    *
  *                      statement, and the PROCEDURE-POINTER    *
  *                      is subsequently used in a different     *
  *                      program, an S0C4 ABEND may occur.       *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *

  The literal format of the "SET ... TO ENTRY ..." statement does
  not invoke the COBOL runtime, so the pointer is not a proper
  function descriptor that will handle locating the proper
  working-storage for the program.
