PI78078: TOSI SERVER ALWAYS TRUNCATES RESPONSE MESSAGES ON AND AFTER RECEIVING A LONG MESSAGE FROM IMS

Error description

• This APAR fixes a problem that TOSI server always truncates
  response messages regard less of its length once received a
  long command response from IMS.

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IMS Tools Online System in IBM  *
  *                 Tools Base V1.5 (FMID=HAHN150).              *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: TOSI server always truncates response   *
  *                      messages on and after receiving a long  *
  *                      message from IMS.                       *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  When TOSI server receives a long response from IMS, it truncates
  response messages to fit within an internal buffer before
  returning to TOSI clients.
  However, once TOSI server truncated the long response message,
  it always truncated even for short response messages.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following TOSI server modules have been changed to fix the
  above problem:
  - FOIAM40A, FOIAM40B, FOIAM40C, FOIAM40D, FOIAM40E, FOIAM409
  - FOICIVP0
