PI76160: DB2 OBJECT COMPARISON TOOL - WSL LOAD FAILS BECAUSE DROPPED COLUMN WAS RELOADED: DSNU053I - FIELD NOT FOUND

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Doing a Compare, the target table has one less column then the
  source table, comparison report indicates table will be
  altered.  But the creator changed on the table space causing
  the table space to be dropped. Reload of a table fails,
  because dropped column was referenced in the LOAD Statement.
  
     DSNU053I 15:50:56.01 DSNURWUF - FIELD 'droppedCol' NOT FOUND
  
  where 'droppedCol' is the name of the column that was dropped.

  When comparing tables, any change that causes the target table
  space to be dropped and recreated, and at the same time, a
  target table in that table space has one more column than the
  source table which need to be dropped, the LOAD statement that
  is generated in the APPLY job still uses the dropped column(s)
  of the target table. This causes the APPLY job to fail during
  the LOAD with:
  
  DSNU053I - FIELD nnnnnnnn NOT FOUND
