APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
The server configuration may include snippets of configuration from separate files. These configuration snippets may be specified as optional. The optional server configuration snippets can use configuration variables. For example: <include optional="true" location="${env.LOCATION-config.xml}" /> In the above example, if ${env.LOCATION} is not specified, the server creates an FFDC with the exception: com.ibm.wsspi.kernel.service.location.MalformedLocationExcep tion: Unable to resolve symbolic path (path=${env.LOCATION}-config.xml) at com.ibm.ws.kernel.service.location.internal.SymbolRegistry.r esolveSymbols(SymbolRegistry.java:314) at com.ibm.ws.kernel.service.location.internal.SymbolRegistry.r esolveSymbolicResource(SymbolRegistry.java:184) at com.ibm.ws.kernel.service.location.internal.WsLocationAdminI mpl.resolveResource(WsLocationAdminImpl.java:663) at com.ibm.ws.kernel.service.location.internal.WsLocationAdminI mpl.resolveResource(WsLocationAdminImpl.java:56)
