PI75935: VOLCNT NOT RESPECTED WHEN SPECIFIED IN THE UTILGBL PARMS

Error description

• VOLCNT not respected when specified in the UTILGBL parms.
  Retro-fit of V2.1 APAR PI71631.
  
  Although APAR/PTF PI72052/UI42953 had a correct fix, the PTF
  had incorrect ++HOLD data.

  *                      they are not respected and the default  *
  *                      value of 1 is used as the VOLCNT value  *
  *                      and BASIC is used as the DSNTYPE value. *

  *                      PTF UI42953 for APAR PI72052 was built  *
  *                      to include ++HOLD cards which were not  *
  *                      required.  The -PE- against UI42953 is  *
  *                      corrected by this APAR.                 *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The parameter validation process looks for VOLCNT and DSNTYPE on
  each line of parameters specified in the SYSIN file.  When the
  VOLCNT parameter is found it is correctly set but if a
  successive SYSIN line is specified after VOLCNT is set the
  default value of 1 replaces the VOLCNT previously validated and
  set.
  
  When DSNTYPE is specified in the UTILGBL parameters RWSP_COMPRTN
  is incorrectly used when setting the final value for DSNTYPE.
  
  The fix in -PE- PTF UI42953 is packaged with ++HOLD which are
  not required.
  

Problem conclusion

• FRXVASD0 and FRXVWSP is corrected to set VOLCNT to the default
  of 1 only after all SYSIN parameters have be processed and no
  VOLCNT found0
  
  FRXVASD0 is corrected to use RWSP_DSNTYPE when setting the final
  value for DSNTYPE.
  
  FRXEDRF0 and FRXEPSS0 are re-compiled to pick up the changes in
  FRXVWSP.
  
  The fix in -PE- PTF UI42953 is re-packaged with no ++HOLD.
