Error description

  • With IBM z/os Explorer 3.0.0.6, when an existing RSE Host
Connection has credentials added by right clicking on the
connection name and selecting Set Credentials and then connect
is attempted, the user will be prompted for 2 sign-on screens
    for the Host Connection:
    z/os Remote System Sign-on and z/os System type sign-on.

Only one of these sign-on screens is required as the user is
signing on to the same system with the same credentials.

    To recreate:
    1) Under Host Connections, select z/os and right click to create
    a z/os Remote System Connection.
Do not connect the connection yet.
    2) Go to Credentials and add a credential with your TSO user
    name and password.
    3) Go to the z/os Remote System connection created in #1.
    4) Right click on the z/os Remote System Connection and select
Set Credentials and the TSO user id added in #2.
    5) Select Connect.
You will be presented with one sign-on screen and then another
    sign-on screen.
